Life is pointless, but don’t be depressed

that does not mean that there is no point in living.

Life is meaningless.

What is there left?

When purpose can only be created.

When meaning is an illusion.

What is not an illusion?

What is there left?

A mystery.

Life is a mystery, like love, like nature, and like the universe.

In many ways, life is like art:

It is meaningless.

But that does not mean that there is no point in living.

There is a point to living.

That point is to experience life.

To observe the beauty of the world.

To experience the miracle of existence.

The reality of living is to live.

To just exist.

To experience life.

To be the witness.

To be the experiencer.

Life has no purpose, and that is the best part about it.

You see?

Right now you probably assume there is something meaningful you can find in your life.

Imagine for one minute: no purpose.

You don’t have to do anything.

You are alive so you can do anything you want.

That’s the beauty of life having no purpose.

The purpose-driven life is overrated.

A life of purpose is a life of sl*very.

Ensl*ved to societal dogmas.

That there is something in the far-distance future that will give you the satisfaction you CRAVE for every day.

My friend.

It’s here.

It’s here right now.

Right beneath you.

May you see it today.

Life itself is the purpose.

There is nothing more that is needed.

When you say “life has a purpose,” you are adding a concept to life.

Adding that concept on top of life as if life needs something more in order to be complete.

Life does not need anything to be complete because it already is complete.

When you believe that life is incomplete, you will not feel fulfilled.

You will have an endless need for something to make you feel complete.

And this need will never be satisfied other than for brief moments.

That is the consequence of trying to find purpose.

You may think you’ve found it.

When you get it, it fades away quickly.

Because it was an illusion of the mind.

And the mind always wants more. AND MORE.

There is no such thing as “purpose”.

It is an idea in your head, like anything else.

The truth is that there is no purpose in life.

What you really want in life is just to be free from disturbance, whether from inside or outside.

You may focus on understanding that it all boils to the mind.

So you may focus on the mind, not on “purpose”.

Once you realize that there is no purpose, you are free, liberated from a fictional purpose.

That fact can make you feel hopeless or empowered.

You can do whatever you want after that.

Life without purpose makes you flexible.

Now you know the truth that there is no purpose...

Could suddenly everything that you DO…have the capacity to give you pleasure?

Instead of ONE thing.

Instead of THE perfect thing.

That everything becomes perfect…

When the need for purpose is thrown out the window.

And the realization that ‘there is none’ has arrived in your bloodline.

May you see the meaningless meaning in my pointless point

Here is my poem about the essence of this letter.

This purpose (a poem)

Life is empty, it has no meaning,

No grand purpose to keep seeking.

BUT what's left when chasing dreams is done?

When mountains climbed, yet peace not won?

When you REALLY stop seeking,

What's left to be found?

What do you think about beauty?

All around?

Be free from the chains,

Of HAVING to strive.

The truth about life,

Is being.

FULLY alive.
