If you meditate, please look at what it gives you, Does it give what you pursue? Or will you 1 day regret, if only you knew? What was really true… About your meditation ‘to-do’.

What is the truth about feeling bored?

With no solid self to entertain, feeling bored becomes impossible.
With no castle to defend, boredom is no longer a weapon.
With no ‘image’ to maintain, pretense falls away.

Why do you feel bored?
Is boredom a concept?

Something that has been taught to you as bad?
That it is BAD that you don’t know what TO DO?

“Boredom is not good”
Just like laziness, this is what your parents, friends, and society taught you, right?

Don’t agree with me.
See what happens.

Everytime when we hear ‘bored’, think we feel ‘bored’, or think about feeling ‘bored’, we see it as bad.

And what happens with the things we think are bad?
We often run away from them…
And if we don’t…
It causes conflict…

You see?

You feel bored.
But you are not allowed to feel bored.
Because it is bad. It’s unproductive. It’s lazy.

This is crucial to understand.

Because when you do.
When you really see this for yourself.
You start to see that you have been escaping ‘boredom’ your whole adult life.

Escaping something you didn’t understand!
WOW, story of our lives…isn’t it?

Let’s clear things up.

Boredom is NOT bad.
Boredom is NOT good.
Boredom is a concept created by society.
Boredom is an idea in our heads. Not real.

So what is this idea of boredom?
Is it a state where you don’t know WHAT to do?
Or is it a state where you know what to do, but don’t want to do it?

Could it be that boredom is a reflection?
A mirror that shows us we do not understand our own thoughts?

And that looking in this mirror is the only way to surpass boredom. To go beyond it.

And that only THEN we find the peace and fulfillment in ourselves we always longed for.

All by understanding what goes on in here (*pointing to my skull).
WITHOUT reacting to it.

Seeing the flame of boredom.
And letting it burn.

Being the flame of being bored.
Without feeling annoyed.
Without picking up your phone for distraction.

Doing nothing but seeing it burn.

I’m not trying to be vague.
But if it sounds unclear to you…then this could be because for your whole adult life everyone taught you the ‘HOW’.

But there is no ‘HOW to stop boredom’.
Not a ‘HOW to understand your thoughts’.

It requires focus.
A focus that is only there if you REALLY want it.
And it is very likely that you don’t really want it.

Which is not bad, it could come later.
But if it’s not there, don’t think it should be there.
Instead, think about what you REALLY want.
And maybe focus on that my friend.

So, “What do you want most in life right now?”
